Community Links Practitioner (CLP)
Annemarie McGregor is our Community Links Practitioner and you can be referred to her by your GP or another member of the practice team. She helps people access community resources to assist them to live well. Annemarie can help you with any non-clinical issues you may be experiencing. She can signpost you to local services that you might benefit from. For example, welfare rights, counselling, cancer support, volunteering opportunities or access to employability support. She can also help you access fun activities such as walking, swimming, gardening groups, lunch clubs or cooking to improve your health and wellbeing. Annemarie can help you access an online Yoga for Pain class and a local Walking Group.
You can make an appointment with our Community Links Practitioner at reception without a referral from your GP.

New fortnightly park walk
Meet your Community Links Worker Annemarie at our new fortnightly free local park walk starting Thursday 22 Aug, 1 to 2pm, for all walking abilities (weather permitting).
A chance to meet people, get some exercise and improve your wellbeing. We will leave outside Pollok Civic Realm main door at 1pm to walk to Haughburn Road and through Househill Park and back (approx. 40 minutes).
Walkers can visit a local cafe afterwards for a cuppa and something to eat (at own expense).
Please bring bottled water with you if you wish.
Open to patients of Peat Road Medical Practice & Silver Burn Practice only.
No pets allowed.
Walks might be cancelled due to adverse weather or staff absence.
