How to Request an Appointment

You can request an appointment in the following ways:

Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, there have been some changes in how the GP surgery works. We have remained open throughout the pandemic, and will continue to do so.

If you need an appointment, please do not attend the surgery in person. When calling the practice, our trained receptionists will ask you some questions and explain the procedure for booking a consultation. All consultations with the GPs will be by phone initially.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

You can cancel your appointment in any of the following ways:

Treatment Room

The treatment room is available by appointment only. If you wish to see one of the treatment room nurses, please consult your doctor first then call them on 0141 531 6800, option 7.

Telephone Advice

Telephone advice with a GP is available. Please contact reception to arrange a phone call, if a GP is not immediately available leave your contact details and the GP will call you when they are free.

Interpreting Services

Patients can now use the telephone interpreting service to contact the GP practice. This service can also be used to contact your local pharmacy or contact the hospital to discuss an appointment for example.

An information leaflet is available in multiple languages. It explains how to use the service by calling or by using a mobile app. It provides codes specific to NHSGGC services so can only be used for this purpose.
